In this time in Champion Class " Mona " got ecxellent, but didn't placed. Under Judge Georgious Kostopoulos from Greece.

Finally we all are back in home :). We have been past few weeks in countryside and last weekend we were Stockholm, Sweden, in World Dog Show 2008. I had " Romeo " and " Mona " with me. Both of them got excellent in Open Class and in competition classes they bot were allso very short listed!! Romeo was sixth and Mona was among the last 10 (there where 42 bitches in the Class!), so I'm really happy with the results :) !!! Males where judged by Thomas Mùnch and Magnus Hagsted judged bitches.

Specially Mona's critics warmes my heart:

In all I had really nice weekend in Sweden and we had opportunity to meet Mona's litter sister "Lola" (Taraly Black is Beautiful), also we met Tamara and her family too :)! Thank You from the very nice meeting and presents ;)! Some pictures about Mona & Lola togeteher is coming later in our gallery.

" Mona " won Open Class with excellent was Best Bitch#1, got CAC and ended BOB :)!!!! So it was last CC to qualified her Estonian & Russian titles :)!! " Wilson " won males Open Class with VG. Under Judge Georgious Kostopoulos from Greece.

Unfortunately we had to leave before group-competitions, but we are very happy with this results :).

In huge Open Class " Mona " got excellent under judge Iva Kimmelman, USA (Merci Isle Whippets). Males were judged by Susanne Oschinski, Germany (Whipcat Whippets) and in Open Class " Wilson " got also excellent.

We were in official health examinationswith whole team, and here is the results:

31.3.2008 " Helmi " : eyes - clean & heart - healthy

31.3.2008 " Romeo " : eyes - clean & heart - healthy

31.3.2008 " Wilson " :eyes - clean & heart - healthy

and then

31.3.2008 " Mona " : eyes - clean & heart murmur

1.4.2008 " Mona " : heart examinated with ultrasound (with 4-colour doppler) - HEALTHY

I'm sorry about my bad english, but I can try shortly to explain the Monas case; Monas heart murmur is caused by high blood pressure, because of she's always extremely nervous in veterinary. Her heart examinated perfectly healthy in todays ulrasound examination.

Ja koska tuo englanti todellakin takkuaa liene järkevää antaa selvitys myös kielellä, joka taipuu huomattavasti paremmin ;) ;

Niin siis Monallahan terveystarkastuksia tehnyt eläinlääkäri (Sanna Elfving, Hakametsän Eläinlääkäripalvelu) kuuli tuolloin maanantaina 31.3 sydämmessä heikon sivuäänen. Virallisesti " Heikko systoler alussa kuuluva sä vas mitraal-ialueelta. Suos uusinta-auskultaatio + sydänultra 6-12kk kuluttua. "

Noh minäpä jaksoin odottaa seuraavaan iltaan Monan ja mietteideni kanssa ;).

Tänään siis kävimme illalla sydänultrassa, joka tehtiin 4-väri dopplerilla. Tutkimuksessa ei havaittu mitään normaalista poikkeavaa. Sydämen rakenteessa ei ollut mitään poikkeamia saatika laajentumia. Läpät toimivat normaalisti, ei vuotoja taikka pyörteitä. Ainut poikkeava löydös oli että aortta valtiomon-virtaama oli hieman 'normaali-arvoista' koholla, joka aiheuttaa sydämeen ylimääräisen äänen. Tämä voi johtua kahdesta eri syystä. Joko aorttavaltimo on ahtautunut - Monan tapauksessa ahtaumaa ei ollut. Taikka sitten verenpaine on tilapäisesti kovasti koholla, kuten Monan tapauksessa- toisin sanoen sydän lyö todella voimakkaasti sillä hetkellä, ja tämä aiheuttaa sydämeen 'sivuäänen'. Ja Monahan on aina ollut aika kova jännittämään pöydällä. Ehkä vähän kaukaa haettu, mutta tällaiset ylimääräiset sivuäänet ovat ell.lääk mukaan melko tavallisia hevospuolella. Hevosella saattaa kuulua useitakin sivuääniä, vaikka itse sydän on todellisuudessa täysin terve. Sydän itse vain pumppaa verta hyvin voimakkaasti.

Joten siis sydänultran perusteella Monalla on täysin normaali 'urheilija-koiran' sydän ;). Valitettavasti kennelliitolla ei ole virallista kaavaketta sydänultra tutkimukselle, joten KoiraNettiin en saa täydennettyä Monan tarkemipia tutkimustuloksia.

Mona have been training hard for coming Lure Coursing competition - Looking squirrels through the window :). And ofcourse she had runned fast with boys in the forest too ;).
